M+K's Whimsical Winter Elopement

Welcome to Megan and Kory’s whimsical winter Elopement! They started out with a sweet and intimate in-home ceremony and then headed to the Legislative building for their first formal photography session as husband and wife. We started off indoors where Megan danced and twirled with her new husband. She chose the right shoes - boots- for her winter wedding and they made for really cute and unique shots. They walked hand in hand staring lovingly into each others eyes down hallways of shiny marble and tenderly kissing without even me prompting them to (hehe, loved it)

Then it was out and into the cold! Well, for us Winnipeggers this might has well been a spring evening. We really lucked out with weather that night. The grounds were covered in lights that made for some lovely bokeh and this helped created a warm atmosphere. We ended off the night with some champagne popping and sparklers (I mean is there a better way to end the night!?)
